Researcher/Interviewer
Susan was born and raised in Digby. She now lives in Seabrook, on Digby Neck with her husband and two sons. She worked on the local newspaper after leaving school. She has been a stay-at-home-mom for 22 years. She prides herself on knowing the history and people in the area.

Jennifer was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a graduate of a two year Radio and Television Arts Program at Kingstec Community College specializing in Television Technical. She also has a strong interest in the performance side of television and has had the opportunity to sing and act throughout the province for several years.
Project Supervisor
Lives in Freeport, Digby County. Andy has 30 years experience in newspaper, radio, and television writing and producing. Andy was senior producer of The Journal on CBC television, and as Executive Producer for First Edition, the CBC supperhour news for Nova Scotia. He and his wife Christine Callaghan operate a Bed and Breakfast in Freeport.
Field Supervisor
Cindy was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but moved to the Digby Neck at age 21 in 1987, living first in Lake Midway, and now in Waterford. She was married to a lobster fisherman from a large Digby Neck family for 17 years. She and her husband lobster fished together and raised three children. In recent years, Cindy did organizational work for the Bay of Fundy Inshore Fishermen's Association, and now leads 6 day bike tours in Nova Scotia and PEI with Vernont Bicycle Tours.
Project Organizer
Robert is the project organizer for the Elder Transcripts and was successful in obtaining funding from the Millennium Partnership Fund and the Municipality of Digby. Mr. Hersey is employed by the Municipality as a heritage officer for the Municipal Heritage Property program. Over the past 15 years this program has identified and researched over 450 potential heritage properties in the district. Like the Elder Transcripts, this research is a valuable resource that communities can use to better understand their history.
Field Supervisor
Chris worked for four and a half years in the Film and Sound Department of the Public Archives of Nova Scotia. Her work there included content-reporting oral history interviews, in particular those collected by Ron Caplan for Cape Breton's Magazine. Then she worked for six years at CBC Television as a researcher/producer for the documentary series Land & Sea. Chris now lives in Freeport.

Grew up in New Minas, Nova Scotia. Graduated from Applied Media and Communication Arts in 2015, and is now entering her second year in Graphic Design.

Grew up in the small town of Loceport, Nova Scotia, a traditional South Shore fishing community. Graduated high school in 1999 with an interest in visual arts and entered Applied Communication Arts at NSCC in Middleton.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario and grew up all across Canada. Graduated from Applied Communication Arts in 2000 (honors). His interests are multimedia and web development. He hopes to progress into a career of web design and multimedia.
Faculty Advisor
Terri has an extensive background in the visual arts, having received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1992. Terri's experience in the field of multimedia/graphic design includes designing Web sites, developing software, creating digital animation for the World Wide Web, and designing many published brochures, magazines, advertisements, and promotional materials. Terri has been teaching design, photography, illustration and web design at the Nova Scotia Community College since 1997.
